A roadmap is a collection of sequential milestones arranged in order of importance/dependency. The roadmap should make sense to people involved at all levels of the project and should be able to represent the current state of things on a single page.
Work remaining is measured in stories, not points.
You can arrange your milestones in order of sequence from top to bottom but you will also need to set Previous in order for projection to work.
