The finish date for each milestone is projected using the count of remaining stories for each milestone yesterday’s weather with the average velocity. This is projected based on the current date and is constantly updated. Discovering stories will affect timelines as these will contribute to the overall count remaining.

You can override the average velocity to see how a change in speed would affect projected finish dates.

Because of this any more than this will not be able to be projected and will show a maximum recursion depth exceeded error.
